Who says dolls are meant just for kids? When in reality, many grownups have massive doll collections. One of them is Anj Calvo, a celebrated fashion designer and doll customizer, who loves to customize his dolls like pretty beauty queens.
Anj Calvo has recently released new doll replicas of the Pinay queens Megan Young, Miss World 2013 and Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2015, and his latest creation is something we can all go mad about.
Anj took his Instagram account and posted: “Of Worlds and Universe… Megan and Pia in a miniature Francis Libiran Couture…”

His repaints and creations are popular not only among the Philippines people, but also worldwide. He is passionate about his work and always enjoys customizing dolls, be it beauty queens or be it Hollywood celebrities. Being a fashion designer, Anj has a profound interest of repainting dolls.
He started customizing dolls in 2000, but after some years he got busy in his fashion designing industry and stopped repainting dolls. Soon after, in 2006 he passionately re-started his work of customizing beautiful dolls.

The doll enthusiast follows so many idols in the doll community. Getting unbeatable inspirations from Noel Cruz, Jon Copeland and his good friend Art Ryan’s work he structured many dolls which were appreciated worldwide by doll lovers.
This is not the first time he is launching an astounding doll version of beauty queens, in fact, he has earlier launched a gorgeous repaint of Megan Young wearing the esteemed crown and clad in a ‘Terno’.

In his latest feature, he has showcased Miss World Megan Young and Pia Wurtzbach’s doll version. His creation is exquisite, and we can see how close the doll repaint job resembles the Pinay beauties.
