Miss United Continents 2016 contestants’ arrival

Miss United Continents 2016 has finally kick started and the contestants have started arriving in Guayaquil, Ecuador for the competition. The finale of Miss United Continents 2016 is scheduled to be held on 24th September 2016. This year is going to be the 4th edition of the pageant. Nathália Lago from the Brazil will crown her successor as Miss United Continents 2016.
After their arrival, the contestants were welcomed by the Organisation and were sashed with their country name on it. After relaxing and rebooting themselves, the delegates went ahead for their first official footage shoot for the contest. Delegates from Argentina, Ivana Calgaro, Ecuador, Cecilia Drouet, France, Elodie Edward, Puerto Rico, Kiara Rodriguez, Dominican Republic, Jennifer Cruz, Peru, Mariella Cabrera, Paraguay, Atenas Aranda, and Netherlands, Noëlle Turubassa were part of the footage that will be shown during the finals. They wore dresses designed by Carlos Veliz.

Next, the beauties went on to explore the country and try out their different delicacies. The restaurant Riviera opened its doors to the contestants of Miss United Continents 2016. Located at Av. Victor Emilio Estrada 707 and Ficus, Urdesa, this place is considered to be one of the best restaurants in Guayaquil, for delicious Italian cuisine.

This year, apart from all the other perks, the winner will be honoured with a new crown as well. The crown of Miss United Continents this year is designed by the talented Ecuadorian jeweler Christian Quintero. The crown is made of fine gold 925 and includes precious gems (topaz) and semi-precious gems (zirconium). Christian Quintero commits to develop a unique design, using high-quality techniques of manufacturing.
The winner will also be awarded with a grand prize of $ 15,000 USD. Miss United Continents (or Miss Continentes Unido) is an international beauty contest held annually since 2013. Prior to 2013, the pageant was a regional pageant and was known as Miss American Continent (or Miss Continente Americano), as the participation was restricted to the countries in America. In 2013, the contest was renewed as an international pageant, with name changed to Miss United Continents.
