The 40 finalists of Binibining Pilipinas 2017 recently took out time to meet the children of the Philippine Cancer Society at the Tandang Sora National Highschool in Quezon City. The brave children, who are battling with Cancer, were more than excited to meet the beauties. The contestants also looked really excited as they spent time with the children, talking and distributing gifts. The contestants were accompanied by members of the Makati Rotary Club. The contestants clicked pictures with the children, and also had a discussion with the organisation to introduce ways of extending support.

Previously, the 40 finalists of Bb Pilipinas 2017 had a wonderful time reminiscing the history of the country as they visited the Gateway Art Gallery Museum to enjoy the murals and paintings. The art museum is located at the 5th floor of Gateway Mall, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City. The finale of Bb Pilipinas 2017 is slated to be held on 30th April 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Bb Pilipinas Organisation is taking the competition a notch up this year, as there is a change in the format of the pageant. According to the Organisation, this year’s edition of the Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant will give bigger score to the interview portion, a.ka. the Q&A. This has been done to keep up with the new Miss Universe format. Under the new format, the candidates will get to flaunt their ability to articulate themselves under pressure while sharing a thoughtful, well-informed response during Preliminary and Final Competition.
