As the clock is ticking, Miss Grand Netherlands 2017 is nearing its finale. The gala finale of Miss Grand Netherlands 2017 is scheduled to be held on 26th March 2017. After an intense casting, a total of 8 finalists are shortlisted to compete for the coveted title. The finalists will be judged by the juries on the basis of their catwalk, dance, vocal pitch and interviews. The Miss Grand Netherlands pageant comes under the franchise of “12 Months of Beauty”, which is run by Robin and Stefan, the national directors.

The gala coronation, which is just a week away, will be attended by the reigning Miss Grand International Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia. Ariska will be accompanied by the Vice-President of Miss Grand International Org, Ms. Teresa Chaivisut during her visit to the Netherlands. Ariska will attend the finale as one of the judges for the night, and will help select the winner who will later compete at the Miss Grand International 2017 finals.
The Top 5 beauties of Miss Grand International 2016 will be coming together to give you a glimpse of the amazing Thailand. The Miss Grand International Organisation revealed that the reigning Miss Grand International, Ariska Putri, along with her court will start her official tour to various places in Thailand from 4th of April 2017, and the tour is expected to go on till 17th April 2017.
The reigning Miss Grand Netherlands is Floor Masselink, who represented the country at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant, but was unplaced. Floor has been spending time with the contestants and giving them tips, whilst sharing her own experience with the girls.
The coveted crown of Miss Grand Netherlands is brilliantly designed by ace Jewellery designer Eduardo Liem of Baroqco. He has crafted the crown using eye-catching emerald and Swarovski diamonds, which gives the crown a royal and regal touch. Inspired by the Miss Grand International crown, Eduardo also got some plentiful ideas from the old czarinas and Farah Diba’s crown.
