Miss Universe Philippines 2018 (Binbining Pilipinas 2018) Catriona Gray is ready to take on the world, rather, the universe, and there is no stopping her. She is a beauty queen in a league different from others, and Philippines is not backing down the support from their beloved Catriona for even a moment.

Bringing back the Miss Universe crown to Philippines in the year 2018 is her first priority, and she is leaving no stone unturned for the same. She has already started preparing her dress for the final look for Miss Universe 2018 already, and her ideas are to bring out the beauty of Philippines and make it shine.

“When I look at the past dresses and accessories in pageants and being surrounded by options in fashion and media, I would always be looking for a fresh take on things. That was how the ear cuff came about. I didn’t want to wear chandelier earrings!” said Catriona, explaining her final look on the Binibining Pilpinas stage which was completed by a custom statement ear cuff that symbolized the Philippine flag.

“It’s perfect timing for me. I feel like I am ready now and poised for anything that will come my way,” Catriona says.

She adds, “Anything creative is right down my alley—you could ask my team. I’m crazy about that stuff. Whether it’s about video shoots about the Philippines and my advocacies or my wardrobe, I am all about telling a story—of who I am and what my country is like.” She wants all her styling to represent “Philippines” in the light she sees it in, beautiful and unique. She is focusing all her fashion energy and resources on Filipino designers, Filipino materials and textile, thoughtful silhouettes, and inspirational figures.

“I wanted this year’s foray into pageantry to be my last. It was all or nothing,” said Gray, who once represented the Philippines in Miss World and finished in the Top 5. This year seems to be the year of Gray, and the beauty queen is definitely one of the stronger contenders for the Miss Universe 2018 crown.
