The finale of Binibining Pilipinas 2017 concluded with the crowning of Binibini 15 Maria Angelica de Leon as Miss International Philippines 2017. Maria Angelica de Leon succeeds Miss International Philippines 2016 and Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa. Maria will now represent the Philippines at the Miss International 2017 pageant.
Maria Angelica de Leon is the daughter of veteran actors Christopher De Leon and Sandy Andolong. This is Mariel's second turn at the pageant. She joined in 2013, where she finished in the Top 15. Under the guidance of the queen makers from talent management agency Aces and Queens, Mariel proclaimed that this year, "De Leon will roar."
The finale of Binibining Pilipinas 2017 started with the introduction of the 40 contestants. All the delegates took the stage to introduce themselves to the audience. Dressed up in glittery cocktail dresses, the girls looked gorgeous. At the same pageant, Binibini 19 Rachel Louise Peters was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas 2017 and will represent the country at Miss Universe 2017 pageant.
Binibini 22 Chanel Olive Thomas was crowned as Bb Pilipinas Supranational 2017, Binibini 39 Elizabeth Durado Clenci was announced as Bb Pilipinas Grand International 2017, Binibini 31 Katarina Sonja Rodriguez was crowned Bb Pilipinas Intercontinental 2017, and Binibini 18 Nelda Ibe was crowned Bb Pilipinas Globe 2017. Binibini 32 Charmaine Elima, and Binibini 40 Kristel Guelos finished as first and second runners-up respectively.
