Miss North Phoenix, Chelsea Myers was crowned Miss Arizona USA 2016 by outgoing titleholder Maureen Montagne of Chandler on November 22, 2015. She will have the prospect to compete at the 2016 Miss USA Pageant where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss USA Olivia Jordan from Oklahoma. Miss Camelback, Paige Pacheco was adjudged as first runner-up, Miss Tucson, Tommy Lynn Calhoun was announced as second runner-up, Miss Fountain Hills, Lexe Richardson was titled as third runner-up and Paradise Valley, Dylan Hendricks was declared as the fourth runner-up. Tristany Hightower was crowned as Miss Arizona Teen USA 2016.

Completing the semi-finalists spot were Tatum Carlson, Cassidy Maturan, Taylor Rosenow, Alexa Jones, Kayleen Workman, Tiphani Morgan, Brittany Mazur, Nicole Smith, Kathryn Bulkley, Isabel Ticlo and Lauren Medwed. Other special awards like Miss Congeniality went to Kathryn Bulkley, Miss Photogenic was bagged by Brittany Mazur, NF Swimsuit was bagged by Shereen Kak, NF Gown went to Elisabeth Bradley, NF Interview was triumphed by Cassie Wilkinson, Miss Spirit was grabbed by Shanna Akins, Director’s Award went to Brittany Mazur and People’s Choice winner was Tiphani Morgan.

Whereas, in the Teen segment, last year's fourth runner-up Ally Trevino placed as first runner-up. The newcomers like Karlina Riggs and Madeline Schwister placed second and third runner respectively. The fourth runner-up title went to 2015 semi-finalist ?Darby Deak.

Arizona has had a comparatively large number of semi-finalists and placements, but has never won the Miss USA crown in its own right. However, in 1980, Jineane Ford was awarded the title after Shawn Weatherly, the original pageant winner, who later won the Miss Universe pageant.

Both Chelsea Myers and Tristany Hightower were competing for the first time. Chelsea Myers is one of only three girls crowned so far this year who have no prior Miss USA or Miss America experience.  The last three Miss Arizona USA titleholders have all been first-time contestants.  Chelsea is from Tempe and Tristany from Scottsdale.
