Miss Universe Iceland 2020 is all set to host its coronation night on 23rd October 2020 where stunning beauties from all over the country will compete for the national crown and an opportunity to represent Iceland in Miss Universe 2020. Miss Universe Iceland 2019 Birta Abiba Þórhallsdóttir will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

While the delegates are giving their best shot to prepare for their national stint, there is one delegate who has caught everyone’s attention with her elegance and grace. Dísa Dungal, Miss 101 Reykjavík 2020, is definitely our fan-favourite for Miss Universe Iceland 2020.

Dísa Dungal is 27 years of age and has been performing with sincerity and excellence. She is currently topping the People’s Choice Award competition. Disa is a Business Owner (Professional lifestyle and health expert).

Dísa graduated with a master’s degree in Sports and Health Science at the age of 24 after fast tracking through college in only 2 years. She is currently working in the fitness industry, running her own business as a professional health and fitness expert, yoga teacher and fitness brand model.

Disa loves all kinds of sports but her favourite things to do are traveling the world, drinking tea and spending time with her grandmother. Disa represented Iceland at Miss Multiverse 2019 as Miss Multiverse Iceland 2019 and placed in the Top 10. Her experience will also be advantageous for her as she competes for the crown.

As for her advocacy, Disa wishes to raise awareness of gender-based violence against women and promoting family service centres. With her determination, intelligence and such a strong advocacy, Disa is a front-runner for the Miss Universe Iceland 2020 crown.
