Femina Miss India 2017 is in full swing and is moving towards the finale in full zeal. The Organisation is busy selecting representatives for the national pageant. This year, the Femina Miss India pageant started off with some major changes in the pattern and criterions.
As per the changes, the first audition of this edition was held in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh, wherein three finalists were selected namely, Sindhura Kaviti, Srishti Vyakaranam and Sarvani Uppati. Next stop was the audition for Telangana region, and the shortlisted finalists are - Shreya Kamavarapu, Simran Choudhary and Spatika Surapaneni. The audition was judged by Shravan Kumar.

Another South region that was auditioned was Tami Nadu, and the shortlisted finalists were - Sanchana Natarajan, Sherlin Seth and Ayisha. The audition was judged by Chaitanya Rao and Sahithya Jagannathan.
Many girls arrived for the audition, and after going through a series of selection rounds, a total of three finalists were selected from each region.
These state finalists will further advance to fight the zone battle of South. South Zonal crowning ceremony will be held in Bengaluru on 5th March 2017. According to the new format of Miss India 2017, Femina Miss India will be touring across 30 states which would be further segregated into two categories, State Auditions and State Crowning in Each Zone. The contestants shortlisted form the auditions will be advanced to the next level. The 30 states of the country will be segregated in 4 zones. Each zone will further have a crowning ceremony, and the zonal winner will then directly advance to Mumbai for the final audition.
