The organization of Femina Miss India organization had announced the 57th edition i.e., Femina Miss India 2020 will be held digitally. The contest is scheduled to be progressed in four phases with the grand finale to be held in 2021. Miss World Asia 2019 Suman Rao, Miss India Grand International 2019 Shivani Jadhav and Miss India United Continents 2019 Shreya Shanker will crown their successors.
The organization had also announced Femina Miss India 2002 Neha Dhupia as the mentor for the contestants who will not only coach the contestants through the rounds of the contest but also help them with overall development on their journey of being a beauty queen. She recently announced the top 31 delegates who will compete for the national crown.
When Manushi Chhillar was crowned Miss World 2017, Neha had a huge role in moulding the queen into being a competitive performer and she aspires to coach the current contestants the same way. Being a beauty queen herself, Neha understands the importance of self-grooming and has shared some of her secrets with the contestants in order to help them on the grooming part of their development.
The former beauty queen shared that it’s very important for the divas to hydrate their skin in order to make it glow naturally and that’s why they should drink plenty of water for the internal hydration and use coconut oil for the external hydration. She also added that just like everyone says, sleeping for good six-eight hours a day is equally important for the glow. Interestingly, Neha shared that the shape of the eyebrows also changes the shape of one’s face so she has advised to keep it as natural as possible because the more natural it looks, the younger the face looks.
Neha stated that the divas who are aspiring to be the next Femina Miss India need to follow these grooming tips in order to groom themselves up for the pageant and one of the essential things to do is make sure that while you get ready, you keep your teeth lipstick free. She mentioned, “if you think no one is watching, you’re wrong because everyone is.” She also stated that being a beauty queen, one should be their own makeup artist but before that they should be able to master that one perfect look for themselves. An eye shadow palette and a complimentary lipstick can do wonders.
The mentor stressed on the point that immaculate nails and feet are very important for the aspiring Femina Miss India diva as the details matter. The diva stated that everyone is looking at the nails and feet and a perfectly immaculate and beautiful looking nails and feet always adds up to the list. Specifically, for the aspiring and the current Femina Miss India that a perfect pair of heels is a must. The heels must be comfortable in walk and for that one needs to skid proof their pageant heels because not everyone is as lucky as Miss World 2000 Aishwarya Rai.
Neha lastly mentioned that these grooming tips and hacks are very easy but very essential for the divas who will represent the country at international stage and to make sure that you do that right, one should follow these and keep working hard to make their way to the top.
