Miss Universe Croatia 2017 Shanaelle Liana Petty just turned 20 and stands at a staggering 185 cm. She is the first multi-racial woman to be crowned Miss Universe Croatia. She is proud to have followed in the footsteps of her late mother who participated in the first Miss Universe Croatia in 1997.
After being touched by those who helped her and her family through her mom’s passing, Shanaelle now advocates for cancer awareness and intends to use her public platform to help and support those in need.
But, you already know that by now. She has achieved a lot in her 20 years and still has a humble heart. Shanaelle’s post about her favourite month, February, is incomplete without her talking about her “all time favourite” doggo, Lili. With such a cute face, we can imagine why Shanaelle loves this cute furry babe.
The sea is for Mermaids
And that is exactly what Shanaelle is! After every few posts, it easy to spot the beauty queen in or around water. She definitely loves to be in a pool, but, the sea seems to hold a dearer place in her heart.

Shanaelle’s love for animals is not limited to the domesticated. She loves all wild life equally. With quite a few posts of her around animals, usually petting them, it’s apparent how connected she feels to animals.
