After winning the second Miss Universe crown for France, Iris Mittenaere wants to be a good Miss Universe

The much anticipated Miss Universe pageant finally comes to an end. After a hiatus of 63 years, Iris Mittenaere won the coveted crown for her country for the second time. During her first official interview as Miss Universe, Iris expressed her joy and said that she wants to be a good Miss Universe. "Thank you very much, I really love this crown. I really want to be a good Miss Universe. I really want to meet you all. I love you all," said Iris.
 
Iris’ Miss Unvierse profile described her advocacy as working for dental and oral hygiene if she won. Mittenaere said that she wanted to go beyond the victory, and promote education for children and young women. She said, "Miss Universe was a dream, every girl wants to be Miss Universe ... the stage is amazing, everything is amazing." 
 
"I want to help people, I want to understand people, I want to meet people, that's why this is a dream for me," added Iris. 
 
 
The beauty queen took to twitter to express her joy and excitement and in case you are confused how to pronounce Iris Mittenaere, here it is... And mind it, it’s nothing like you imagined..!! wink
 
 
 
 
The newly crowned also admitted that she still feels like she's "dreaming" when she looks at the crown and sash, which now belong to her. Mittenaere is the second French delegate to win Miss Universe, after Christiane Martel all the way back in 1953. Iris Mittenaere is a 23 years old woman who hails from the capital of fashion, which is Paris. She was born in a town known as Lille, which is located North of France. The stunning beauty stands at an astounding height of 5’ 8” and has a degree in Dental Surgery. No wonder, her best feature is her gorgeous smile!
