The "Tirolean Girl", Maria Hackl has selected as another representative of Tirol and will now compete at Miss Austria 2017.
Hackl’s parents came from a beautiful city of Tirol-more precisely from the district of Imst. Imst is a small town on the River Inn in western Tirol. Maria developed an intense love for animals from the age of 8.
After graduating from high school she decided to visit the HBLA "Ferarrischule" to focus on human ecology in Innsbruck. So for this, Maria went to the capital of Tirol for five years and for one and a half years, she lived in the boarding school and studied books on Human ecology.
In the summer of 2012, this Tirolean girl got the opportunity to intern with "Lido di Jesolo" for three months and there she worked in a small family business as a service force. This internship gave her the lifetime experience.
She believes," If there were more people with civil courage, the world would no longer need heroes!" With this quote in mind and the goal of bringing people closer to this, she applied to the police and completed the four-stage recording process. During the necessary preparations, Maria also discovered her passion for sports. As she graduated as a police officer in the summer of 2016, she still pursued her passion for sports.
Maria is very close to her family as she says, “If you want to achieve anything than you must have support of your family and friends”.
Her word of advice- "Happy is not who has much, but who needs little!"
