In a talk show, Mariam expressed: "Although it sounds cliché or something repetitive I am very happy and have a dream fulfilled now. Two years ago maybe I did not feel safe or mature to compete. It's a great responsibility to have. During the contest, my relationship with Miss Amazonas (Miss Earth today) was always pleasant and friendly, we even have several friends in common. She is a very sweet girl and I like Miss Trujillo, now Venezuela Miss International. We have always been aware from each other.”

Pondering over the challenges she faced at the course of the competition, Mariam also added: "I must confess that night felt a little competition because people attacked the Tocuyo (Lara state) the power goes every day, especially on Thursdays. My followers wrote me many messages through social networks that they wanted to see the show to support me but could not. I had several times where I thought I could not finish my goal. At times I was sad to think that I will not reach the hearts of people. My father always taught me that while the road is longer, higher is the learning of experiences.”

In a recently concluded interview, Habach stated that she always had a penchant for beauty pageants. Her fondness for pageants increased when she won a primary school pageant at the age of 13. Mariam’s beauty is quite fresh, tender and comes across as genuine. She has a good stage presence, likeable personality and confident approach to answer the questions projected towards her.

The taste of winning something you are really passionate about is par explicable, hence Mariam Habach can beautifully pull of her best in the coming edition of Miss Universe 2016.
