24 years old Kim Wentzel who hails from Roodepoort on the West Rand, is one of the twelve finalists for Miss South Africa 2015. Miss South Africa is a national beauty pageant that selects representative for Miss World and Miss Universe. Kim, who is an assistant fashion buyer for Edcon, is studying for an advanced diploma in marketing management at the South Africa Institute of Management.
Before getting through the list of finalists for Miss South Africa 2015, Kim has several other beauty competitions to her credit, including Miss SA Sun, where she was title as the second Runner-up (second princess), Miss African Ambianc, where she was titled as the first Runner-up (first princess), Miss Roodepoort, where Kim was one of the finalist and received highest votes from the public, and finally she was crowned Miss Die Adelaar. After outshining in all these various pageants, Kim now aims at winning the title of Miss South Africa 2015.
When asked, how does it feel to be standing as a finalist for Miss South Africa 2015, Kim said, “The Miss South Africa pageant is a prestigious event and is a stepping stone for young women to achieve success through the empowerment it provides. It encourages women and allows them to play a vitally important role in society. It also affords them the opportunity to meet different people, to be a role model and to contribute to charity organisations. I want to make a positive statement.”
The finals of Miss South Africa 2015 is scheduled to be held on March 29’2015 at the Sun City Resort will simulcast on M-Net and Mzansi Magic. Who do you think will be crowned as Miss South Africa 2015?
