Mexicana Universal 2018 just held its sixth gala on Sunday, 13th May 2018 where the 11 contestants opened the gala with batons supporting each one of them in the forum. Also in attendance was Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters who graced the occasion with her undulating presence and talk about her Unbreakable campaign.
The sixth gala had it all; from fun catwalks, challenging classes of quebradita which is a Mexican Dance style, teachings protocols at dinner, musical compositions for their moms, emotional family visits to dark photo shoots in the cemetery.

The delegates then walked in the incredible haute couture catwalk, where Judges Rebecca de Alba and Penélope Menchaca analyzed the performance of the girls. David Salomón awarded the hashtag of Diosa (meaning goddess) to Anapaola de Anda from Yucatán and Nebai Torres de Jalisco.
As the painful moment came, Mexicana Universal Queretaro 2017 María José Hernández was eliminated from the competition. To close the night with a flourish, the participants paraded in stunning swimsuits and very colourful scenery that made them look beautiful.
