At the conclusion of the grand coronation night of Mexicana Universal 2019 held on 23rd June 2019 at Ciudad de Mexico, Sofía Aragón of Jalisco was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Mexico in Miss Universe 2019. The newly crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2019 succeeds and was crowned by Mexicana Universal 2018 aka Miss Universe Mexico 2018 Andrea Toscano.

The gorgeous beauty is 25 years of age and stands 176 cm tall. With her incredible performance, she won over everyone’s hearts at the competition. She is a writer as well as a speaker and advocated about human empowerment. She is the author of Diamante en Bruto and Color de lo Invisible. The Mexican beauty deserved every bit of the appreciation she received at the competition this year with her outstanding performance and sincerity. The newly crowned queen’s court included –

1st Runner-Up – Claudia Lozano Domínguez representing Nuevo León

2nd Runner-Up – Maru Nava representing Yucatán

3rd Runner-Up – Ángela Delgado representing Colima

4th Runner-Up – Cintya Avendaño representing Oaxaca

5th Runner-Up – Ximena Torres representing Chiapas

Miss International 2018 Mariem Claret Velazco was also present at the coronation night and inspired the contestants with her advice and charm. The contest was held under the leadership and authority of Mexicana Universal Organization’s President Lupita Jones, former Miss Universe.

Thirty one contestants competed for the national title and impressed everyone with their performances. Out of the thirty one ladies, only twenty moved forward in the competition as the finale night moved forward - Sofía Aragón, Claudia Lozano Domínguez, Maru Nava, Ángela Delgado, Cintya Avendaño, Ximena Torres, Yuridia Durán, Marissa Navarro, Regina Peredo, Luz Ávila, Paola Guerrero, Carolina Gaona, Cristal Rodríguez, Diana Martínez, Samantha Ortega, Carolina Martínez, Aurora Mancilla, Rubí Pérez, Raquel Romero, Miriam Carballo.

At the grand coronation night, Yuridia Durán of Nayarit was also crowned Mexicana Internacional 2020 aka Miss International Mexico 2020. Marissa Navarro of Chihuahua was adjudged as her runner-up. Regina Peredo of Puebla was crowned Mexicana Hispanoamericana 2019 aka Reina Hispanoamericana Mexico 2019. Luz Ávila of Nayarit was adjudged as her runner-up.
