Mexicana Universal 2022, the 4th edition of the national pageant, will be held soon as the finale date and venue is yet to be announced. Mexicana Universal 2020 Débora Hallal of Sinaloa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2022.
The organization will also crown a representative who will represent Mexico at Reina Hispanoamericana 2022. Here are the confirmed candidates –

In 2020, Andrea Meza was crowned Mexicana Universal 2020 who represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2020 and ended up winning the international pageant. In 2021, while there was no national pageant held, Débora Hallal was designated Mexicana Universal 2021 who represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2021 but remained unplaced.
