Voting for Mexicana Universal Mexico City 2017 suspended!

Mexicana Universal Mexico City 2017 is all slated to happen on 15th March 2018 with its four contestants vying for the regional title. The winner of the competition will represent Mexico City at Mexicana Universal 2018.

Mexicana Universal 2018 will be the first edition of the national pageant which selects its candidate for Miss Universe 2018. Previously, the pageant was held under the name Nuestra Belleza Mexico. Nuestra Belleza Mexico City 2017 Marielle Ruesga Castañeiras was the last winner of the regional pageant but unfortunately could not place in the semi-finals.

The winner of the pageant will be chosen through the votes of the public through the official Facebook contest. The contestants fighting for the title of Mexicana Universal Mexico City 2017 are as follows –

Luisa De La Selva, 22-years-old / 173 cm

Gildy Reyes, 25-years-old / 179 cm

Daniela Larragivel, 23-years-old / 168 cm

Renata Aguilar, 23-years-old / 175 cm

Just a few hours ago, an official Facebook page of Mexicana Universal Mexico City released breaking news where the voting for contestants was called off until further notice. There was some unusual activity detected in the origin of the likes on the photos of the contestants.

The page also released the latest status of the votes before the voting was called off.
