Priscila Leal of Frontera crowned Mexicana Universal Coahuila 2018

Priscila Leal, originally from Frontera, Coahuila, was crowned the winner of Mexican Universal Coahuila 2018 at an event which took place in the city of Piedras Negras on 3rd December 2017, and with this victory, she earned the privilege to represent Coahuila in Mexicana Universal 2018 beauty pageant to be held next year.

Priscila, who is 22 years of age and stands tall at 176 cm, defeated eight other candidates to win the crown. Her court included Frida Reynoso and Telliz Rodriguez. Other candidates who competed for the title of Mexicana Universal Coahuila 2018 were Alondra Moreno, Joana Martinez, Karla Araujo, Jenifer Alejandra, Irene Castillo, and Lucero Cadena.

Happy with the win, Priscilla, said she is willing to fight to win the national title, through effort and discipline. "I knew I was going to arrive, but not here, nothing happened in my head, I did not see myself losing or winning, and regardless of the result, I would have been satisfied because I gave 100 percent," she said.
