Michel López Sosa was crowned Mexicana Universal Jalisco 2019 on 2nd November 2019 as she will be representing Jalisco at Mexicana Universal 2020 competition where Sofía Aragón will crown her successor at the end of the event who will compete in Miss Universe 2020.

Michel Sosa is 23-years-old and stands 180 cm tall. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law with criminal as her specialization as well as Master’s degree in English language. With her degree in the English language, Michel comes as a very confident and persuasive spokesperson for social groups she works with. The communication skills can help the diva with question and answer round during event. She works on improving her communication skills every day using communication techniques to impress the judges instantly.

Michel’s social project is about breast cancer as she wants to raise awareness regarding the disease among young women. She works closely with raising awareness about breast cancer because her mother lost her life to the same disease. She explains that her parents even after separation always inspired and pushed her to follow her passion and after her mother passed away, her father stood by her side like rock, always motivating her to follow the dream she has always dream of.

Michel is not new to the pageantry as she had previously participated in Mexicana Universal Jalisco 2018 where she was placed as first runner up. She has also walked for some big brands proving her modelling skills to the world.  She is extremely hardworking and passionate about winning the title and represent her country at an International stage like Miss Universe 2020. Michel is constantly working on her skills to improve everyday to make her chances of winning strong.
