Géromine Prique crowned Miss Auvergne 2020 for Miss France 2021

Géromine Prique was crowned Miss Auvergne 2020 on 17th October 2020 at Puy-en-Velay, in a private ceremony. She will represent the province at Miss France 2021 stage and succeeds Miss Auvergne 2019 succeeds Meissa Ameur for the title and is very excited to take over the crown duties.

Originally from Athis-Mons in Essonne, Géromine is 21-years-old and stands 170 cm tall and is currently a business law student who is living in Clermont-Ferrand for five years. After winning the crown, the diva thanked everyone who supported her in her dream to win the title and represent the province at Miss France’s stage. Géromine is not new to the world of pageantry as Miss Auvergne 2020 was her third attempt to win the title. She had explained, “I was really very surprised. I did not expect to be elected Miss Auvergne. I am delighted. The first year, I was not classified. The second year I finished second runner-up and this year it was the right one. When I was little, I always watched the Miss France competitions.”

Second runner-up: Marilou Thomas

The diva is very excited and aspires to be the first Miss Auvergne to win the title of Miss France. She has mentioned, "I would like to be the first Auvergne crowned Miss France. In addition, we have a new committee. I would like to go as far as possible with this new committee. I will put all the chances on my side. I'm doing this a bit by feeling. Géromine who is pursuing her master’s degree in business law hopes to complete her degree soon and start using it for the society. She has other passions such as that of animals and engages in volunteer work at the Brugheas SPA in Allier. On asking about her view on Auvergne, the diva mentioned, “I really like the dynamism of this city. The mentality of the people there is different: the people are warm. I am Auvergne by adoption. I really like this region. She is now part of my life. I would like to stay in Auvergne if possible. It's as if Clermont-Ferrand was my birthplace.”

The diva has assured that she is preparing herself for the competition and is fully invested in making the people of her province proud by winning the title. She describes herself as motivated, determined, and sparkling and would use her values to win the title.
