Miss Earth Netherlands 2017 Faith Landman will soon crown a new Miss Earth Netherlands 2018 (Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2018) queen. The newly crowned queen will then represent Netherlands at the Miss Earth 2018 Pageant where Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco will crown her successor.
But before the grand coronation night of the Miss Earth Netherlands pageant concludes, it’s important for us to get to know the finalists that will be fighting for the Earth crown of Netherlands.
Of all the contestants, we chose 5 that we believe are the ones standing out in the race to the crown currently, and here is the scoop on one of our favourites.
Rowena Konings is 20 years old and lives in Rijen. Currently she has a gap year and works in the hospitality industry at the Holland Casino in Breda. She also teaches dance at L-joy dancefactory in Dongen and is a vlogger. In the future she would like to get a break through as a presenter. Presenting is, in addition to dancing, her greatest passion.
Rowena had hoped to be in the Top 4 of Miss Earth Noord Brabant 2018, and was truly surprised when she won. She thanked everyone first and then said goodbye to my family. To Rowena, it was a wonderful moment that she will never forget.
Through Miss Earth Netherlands 2018 Rowena would like to show that everything is possible. She never expected herself to participate in a pageant. But now that she is working on this, she believes it to be one of her best experiences. She wants to learn a lot from it and also hopes that this is a step towards a great career as a presenter.
Rowena likes to dance in my spare time. In addition to dancing, sports is also very important to her. Furthermore, she vlogs and hangs out with friends.
She plays music 24/7. She goes to sleep with music and wakes up to it. She also loves sushi.
The Miss Earth Netherlands 2018 gala will be held at Studio 21 in Hilversum on 31st August, 2018. The coronation has previously been held at the World Hotel Wings for two years, but, due to the increase in the audiences that the pageant hosted, the venue has been changed to fulfill the increased seat requirements.
