Olga Alava is living her dream right now as she is about to get married to the love of her life, Vic Barahona. Miss Earth 2011 Olga Alava is getting married in May, next year and we are way too excited for her!

In a sweet message that she wrote along with a beautiful picture which she shared on Instagram, she thanked her partner for not only being there for her in times of need but for also sacrificing his own wants and needs for her. She began, “Yes, yes, yes I love you! Thank you for coming in my life and staying, thank you for being a good-hearted man full of love, my boyfriend and future husband Vic Barahona. Thank you for always surprising me.”

Olga and Vic met while she was in Madrid to complete her master’s degree. She describes her fiancé as a dedicated, brave, respectful, honest, cultured, good son, brother and a friend. Olga considers her fiancé as her biggest blessing as she shared various pictures on instagram on her engagement day. For her, Vic is her strength and her strongest pillar of foundation. She ended her message by saying, “He shares my dreams, he calms me and fills me with love even in the most tense moments. He teaches me things, he loves reading and I always learn a new story.”

Even though it all looks like cakes and flowers for the couple, they have had their share of struggles too. The biggest sacrifice that Vic made for her was to shift his base to Ecuador so that Olga could work and achieve her dreams. Isn’t he the best boyfriend ever?
