The 20th edition of Miss Earth, i.e., Miss Earth 2020 is going to be held on 29th November 2020 and for the first time in history, Miss Earth will crown their new titleholder with a virtual coronation night due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The winner will succeed Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico for the title.
The preliminary activities for the competition had already begun a month prior to the finale night where the divas have been performing and showcasing their talents and advocacies for mother earth exceptionally well. This year’s batch had to face a little difficulty as the preliminary activities were conducted online and the grand finale night will be conducted in the same way. The two months-long series of online pre-pageant events included regular talks on environmental issues, competitions for talent, evening gown, beachwear, sportswear, national costume, and an interview opportunity with netizens.
The organization has announced the winners for the preliminary competition activities recently. The delegates have outdone themselves by impressing the judges and the audience with their performance and secured the high position at the competition. Let’s look at the winners:

The grand finale night of Miss Earth 2020 is scheduled to be held on 29th November 2020 and it is the first time that the coronation ceremony will be conducted virtually due to the Covid19 pandemic. Even though the beauty pageant is being conducted virtually, every delegate has taken the pageant solemnly and understood the importance of carrying out a pageant that takes the matter of the pandemic earnestly and have carried out their advocacies in a proper manner.
