Maria Fotou replaces Niki Alexandridou as Miss Earth Greece 2020

The organization of GS Hellas has appointed Maria Fotou as the new Miss Earth Greece 2020 and as a replacement of Niki Alexandridou for the title. Maria will be representing Greece at the coronation ceremony of Miss Earth 2020. She has succeeded Miss Earth Greece 2018 Chrysa Androutsopoulou for the title as Greece did not compete in the Miss Earth 2019 competition. The reason for Niki Alexandridou’s replacement has not been revealed by the organization yet.  

Maria is 21-years- old and stands 176 cm tall and has studied Maritime and is very excited to be a part of Miss Earth 2020 stage. She is not new to the beauty pageant world as she was one of the participants at GS Hellas 2019 and was adjudged with an award Miss Body GS Hellas 2019 at the end of the event finale.

Maria is very confident, strong, and focused towards her goal and feels that one shouldn’t be afraid of their dreams and should work their best to achieve it. “Do not be afraid of perfection. You will never succeed!” she mentioned. She also believes in the motto, ‘The best way to protect your future is to create it.’

The diva is would be using the platform of Miss Earth to educate and create awareness about the environmental advocacy among the people and try to do something better for mother nature. She is confident, passionate, and very grateful for the organization of GS Hellas for believing in her and trusting her with the title especially during such tough times.

The diva believes that Miss Earth competition serves as a platform for the divas who genuinely wishes to work for the betterment of the environment and she is very glad to be a part of such a prestigious stage. With her experience and knowledge about modelling she can be someone to look forward at the competition. The finale of Miss Earth 2020 will be held on 29th November 2020 virtually.
