Faith Landman, 20, from Flevoland won the titles Miss Earth Netherlands and Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2017. She competed at the 2017 Miss Earth finals held in the Philippines in November.

The young beauty queen had been made the ambassador for the Seal Center Zeehondencentrum Pieterburen, after winning the title of Miss Earth Netherlands 2017. She seems to have not forgotten her duties and obligations towards the facility and was spotted at the Seal Center Zeehondencentrum Pieterburen.

Miss Earth’s official Facebook page shared the news with all her fans, in a post, yesterday.

Faith also took to her Facebook and posted pictures from the trip. She also added a caption that said: “Yesterday I went to the Seal Center Zeehondencentrum Pieterburen in the Netherlands to help our sick seals! It was a pleasure to be there again as an ambassador from the seal centre which is part of my advocacy!”

She represented The Netherlands in the Philippines at one of the largest elections in the world: Miss Earth.

According to Faith, Netherlands is already for many years trying to reduce our ecological footprint. In all their cities we enforce every family to separate our waste. They also have national days where school children go out and collect garbage. All electrical products, glass and plastic bottles are collected for recycling or re-use. Their government is also stimulating families to switch to solar and wind energy for their own house. Besides that, a Dutch student Boyan Slat started the Ocean Cleanup. The Netherlands is one of the most high-tech countries in the world and because of this, they can come up with these initiatives.
