Christine Telfer crowned Miss Earth Nigeria 2021

The 20th edition of Miss Earth Nigeria, i.e. Miss Earth Nigeria 2021, was held on 28th August 2021 at the Dome, Calabar Municipal Gardens, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria where Christine Telfer was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Nigeria at Miss Earth 2021. She succeeds Miss Earth Nigeria 2020 Gwenivere Chioma Ifeanyieze.

Christine hails from Cross River State, Nigeria. She has earned her bachelor’s degree in human physiology from the University of Calabar in Calabar, Cross River State. Her environmental advocacy is promotion and preservation of biodiversity. Not new to the pageantry, She competed at Miss Earth Nigeria 2019. Telfer finished fifth, earning the Miss Earth Nigeria Eco Tourism 2019 title.

 

 

The newly crowned Miss Earth Nigeria 2021 Christine Telfer's elemental court included -

Miss Earth Nigeria-Air 2021 - Suoyo Enenimiete Mercy (Bayelsa State)

Miss Earth Nigeria-Water 2021 - Mbanusi Chidiogo (Anambra State)

Miss Earth Nigeria-Fire 2021 - Akugbo Amaka Precious (Rivers State)

Miss Earth Nigeria-Eco Tourism 2021 - Zino Precious (Delta State)

Apart from the winner and her court, Top 10 included Ebi Tasha Ruth (Bayelsa State), Diana Noel (Rivers State), Adenike Adebayo (Kwara State), Victoria Ibiso Tony (Rivers State), Bakor Dornubari Precious (Rivers State). While Okolo Justina Chidimma (Anambra) and Suoyo Enenimiete Mercy (Bayelsa) were awarded Miss Congeniality awards, Judith Ameh (Benue State) was awarded Most Creative award.
