Miss Florida USA 2018 Genesis Davila, is a Puerto Rican- American model who was crowned Miss World Puerto Rico in 2014. Genesis was a part of quite a few controversies in 2017; she was crowned Miss Florida USA 2017 but was disqualified for using outside assistance on hair and makeup.

This year, she was crowned Miss Florida USA 2018 and is all set to represent her state in the upcoming Miss USA 2018. A humanitarian, Genesis has been working non-stop to help bring aid for the people of Puerto Rico who haven’t recovered from the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.

Since the last few days, Genesis has been in her hometown, providing relief in the form of commodities to the children of Arroyo, Puerto Rico. She delivered more than 300 backpacks to the affected communities in her hometown with the help and assistance from the Mayor Honorable Eric Bachier and his staff.

In her latest official Instagram post, she talked about the community of Yaurel in the city of Arroyo that was left without power more than 120 days ago. Despite their living conditions, the people welcomed our beauty queen with humble hearts and beautiful smiles.

Genesis also urged her followers to help in providing aid and posted the link in her bio to contribute to the relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
