Kristina Cincurova stuns in a wedding dress at Paris

25 Jan 2018 | Camilla Suarez

It is a popular belief that beauty queens, or contestants in pageants are different from models, and can hardly be expected to push themselves into the big modeling business beyond the borders of the country. Well, there are exceptions.

On Wednesday, a couple of hours after the twelfth, she appeared as a star of the haute couture collection of the famous designer Elie Saab.

Kristína Cincurová, Miss Slovakia 2016 had been honored with the greatest showcase - the final model of a show, a model for a wedding gown. And to add a cherry on the top, she was the end model for the prestigious designer Elie Saab. On Wednesday Kristína Cincurová appeared as a star of the haute couture collection of the designer.

Elie Saab’s wedding creation decorated with thousands of hand-made crystals was admired by dozens of guests at the show. Saab’s spring/summer 2018 haute couture collection was inspired by “the women in Paris in the 1920s translating their sophisticated elegance into pieces of timeless chic”. As is customary, the final look was the couture bridal look, carried by Kristína, which drew the most gasps – and the most raised iPhones from the audience.

Interestingly, the Lebanese creator for the Hollywood elite was obviously able to appreciate the beauty of the Slovene. Whether participation in this tour starts the modeling career of the former queen beauty can only be estimated. But it's undoubtedly the start of a great journey.

Here is the whole show and collection by Eli Saab.
