Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe crowned Miss France 2023

The finale of Miss France 2023 was held on Saturday, 17th December 2022 at M.A.CH 36 in Châteauroux, Centre-Val de Loire where Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe was crowned Miss France 2023 as she succeeds and was crowned by Miss France 2022 Diane Leyre of Île-de-France.

Indira Ampiot is 18 years of age and hails from Basse-Terre. She beat 29 other contestants representing various French regions and departments to become the fourth woman from Guadeloupe to win the national crown.

 

 

The newly crowned Miss France 2023 Indira Ampiot’s court includes –

1st Runner-up – Agathe Cauet of  Nord-Pas-de-Calais

2nd Runner-up – Marion Navarro of Franche-Comté

3rd Runner-up – Axelle René of Martinique

4th Runner-up – Alissia Ladevèze of Auvergne

Top 15 also included Flavy Barla (5th Runner-Up) of Côte d'Azur, Sarah Aoutar (6th Runner-Up) of Lorraine, Orianne Galvez-Soto of Aquitaine, Cameron Vallière of Languedoc, Florence Demortier of Midi-Pyrénées, Emma Guibert of Pays de la Loire, Bérénice Legendre of Picardy, Marine Paulais of Poitou-Charentes, Esther Coutin of Rhône-Alpes and Chiara Fontaine of Roussillon.

 

 

Also at the finale, Perrine Prunier of Normandy won the General Culture award and Good Manners award, Marine Paulais won the Best Regional Costume, Camille Sedira of Alsace won Miss Congeniality, Bérénice Legendre of Picardy was awarded Miss Photogenic, Axelle René won the Miss Catwalk award, Marion Navarro of Franche-Comte won Eloquence award, Florence Demortier was awarded Stylist award, Herenui Tuheiava of Tahiti was awarded Adventurer award and Lara Lebretton of Burgundy was awarded Elegance award.

There is no official confirmation yet if Indira will go to Miss Universe or the Miss World pageant. She may choose to participate in either or both, and if not, the runners-up or previous winners will be appointed.
