Genesis Andrea Quintero Pérez from Arauca was crowned Miss Grand Colombia 2018 on 11th February 2018 at the event finale held at Municipality of Villeta, Cundinamarca. She will now represent her country at the upcoming Miss Grand International 2018 to be held in Myanmar this October.
Genesis succeeds Miss Grand Colombia 2017 Francy Yurany Castaño Suarez who was appointed to represent Colombia last year at Miss Grand International 2017.
At the event finale, Miss Grand International 2017 Maria Jose Lora along with the CEO Thai Nawat Itsaragrisil crowned the dazzling diva.

Genesis is a 26- year-old graduate from North Catholic University in Social Communications. Standing 175 cm tall, she currently works in Bogota in Political & Social Marketing.

Miss Grand Colombia hosted its first edition of the competition this year after the resignation of Miss Earth Colombia to the international franchise which selected the representative to Miss Grand International before 2017.
