Brenda Castro has been appointed Miss Grand Costa Rica 2019, as revealed by the official national organization, and will now represent Costa Rica in Miss Grand International 2019. She succeeds Miss Grand Costa Rica 2018 Nicole Menayo. The 26-year-old Costa Rican beauty is a model and a businesswoman by profession.
From Guápiles, Limón Province, Brenda started modelling at the age of 15. Not a stranger to pageant world, Brenda has various titles under her belt; she previously won Señorita Expo-Pococí 2008, Miss Teenager Costa Rica 2011, Miss Latinoamérica Costa Rica 2014 and Señorita Verano Costa Rica 2015.
Brenda also has quite a lot of experience in international pageants as she was 2nd Runner-up in Miss Teenager International 2011 and 3rd Runner-up in Miss Latinoamerica International 2014. Her most acclaimed title is Miss Costa Rica 2015 as she represented Costa Rica in Miss Universe 2015.
The gorgeous beauty will for sure be a tough competition for the other ladies competing for the title of Miss Grand International 2019 with all her experience and sincerity she brings along with her title. Her enthusiasm and dedication to not just represent Costa Rica with pride but also to win the crown for her country will definitely make her a strong contender in the competition.
The finale of Miss Grand International 2019 will be held on 25th October 2019 in Venezuela where Clara Sosa of Paraguay will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
