27 Feb 2020 | Priya Bhardwaj

Miss Grand Indonesia 2020, the third edition of the national pageant, will host its coronation soon under the leadership of Ivan Gunawan, the new national director of the national pageant. Miss Grand Indonesia 2019 Sarlin Jones will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Ivan introduced new rules this year for the contestants to join the pageant including a minimum height of 175 cm and has never participated in other pageant events. After going through a rigorous selection process, the organization chose five contestants to compete for the crown. These five delegates were not chosen to represent the thirty-four provinces.

Bella Aprilia

Bella Aprilia is a model by profession and also works as a brand ambassador for one of the aesthetic skin clinics. She is a disciplined person and has learnt to explore herself through her job. She was also the winner of Indonesian Top Model East Java on 2012.

Jessika Lagu

Jessika is the product of the training of Artikawhulandary Beauty Camp Batch 5. Her abilities have been honed by alumni of Indonesian Princess who competed in Miss Universe.

Kharisma Aura

Kharisma Aura is another stunning contestant at Miss Grand Indonesia 2020. She participated in World Top Model 2019 and won the first runner-up position. Her catwalk, therefore, is impeccable. She lives in Jakarta, Indonesia and works at Posture Management.

Jazmine Rowe

Jazmine Rowe shows immense potential for the crown as well. With her beauty and her tall frame, standing 182 cm tall, Jazmine will be a strong competition for the crown.

Nadia Ingrida

Nadia Ingrida, resembling Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 Nadia Purwoko, is also a strong contender for the crown. She is the perfect Indonesian beauty with stunning eyes and slender frame.

Last year, Miss Grand Indonesia 2019 Sarlin Jones represented Indonesia at Miss Grand International 2019 but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 21. The country already holds one Miss Grand International crown under its belt since its inception in 2013.
