As the world tries to deal with the ongoing pandemic situation, the beauty queens have been stepping up their social work especially for the locals and front liners in different ways. Some have been conducting live sessions every day to engage their fans and followers, some have been putting up workout videos, food recipes etc., to keep their fans and followers across the world engaged and positive. The need to be productive is not the point in here but to keep oneself busy is the main goal. Some beauty queens have stepped up for helping the front liners by providing the essentials they need and for the locals too. They have been carrying out their advocacies along with helping various non-profit organizations to collect funds so that the ones in need could get their essentials to survive.

Recently, Miss Grand International 2019 Valentina Figuera turned towards baking to help the locals and the health workers amid the pandemic coronavirus. The diva baked cookies and pastries for the health workers. Her warm and kind gesture was applauded by the health workers who are working tirelessly to stop the spread of the virus in the world. The diva’s kind and humble nature has always been one of the things she has been appreciated for and now distributing hand made cookies and pastries, Valentina has won many hearts and blessings. Miss Grand International Organization also appreciated Valentina’s efforts to help the health workers in her own special way.

Valentina shared her experience on her social media account where she uploaded a picture with a caption, “Let’s start this new month by putting our granite of sand! Today I was together with a nice team preparing food for the general staff of some hospitals here in Bangkok, they are the ones who need our support the most right now ... and we can collaborate from home!!!”

Valentina has been actively supporting health workers and the front liners who are trying to help the ones in need and she has also been trying to stay positive and hopeful with the ongoing situation. The diva has started her own YouTube channel where she talks about everything starting from things about herself, to her stint at Miss Grand International 2019 and the very recent one was when she shifted to Thailand for a year. She continues to work from Thailand hand in hand with the organization.

Valentina Figuera was crowned Miss Grand International 2019 on 25th October 2019 at the Poliedro de Caracas located in the city of Caracas, Venezuela. She is the first Venezuelan woman to win the Miss Grand International title. According to some reports the Miss Grand International Organization has decided to shift the Miss Grand International 2020 pageant to 2021 because of the pandemic, which means that Valentina could be a queen for a longer period. There hasn’t been any official statement as of now.
