Miss Grand Netherlands 2018 (12 months of beauty 2018) took a rocking start with twelve finalists. However, due to an unfortunate turn of events, one of the finalists, Deborah Van Hemert, had to back off. Now, only 11 finalists remain as the coronation night nears us.

Stating personal reasons, Deborah resigned from the competition. The organization tried their best to work out a way to keep the beauty queen in the competition, however, a way could not be worked out around Deborah’s personal issues, and she had to finally take back her candidacy for the crown of Miss Grand Netherlands 2018.

The 11 finalists that will be fighting for the crown of Miss Grand Netherlands 2018 are Lisan Weidgraaf (Miss World University 2017), Hannah Potuyt, Jessica Wohrmann (Miss Nederland 2016, Miss World Netherlands 2017) , Kimberley Xhofleer (Winner Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2016) , Jeanne Molenaar, Esmeralda Carelse, Michantely Lisse, Rosella Chialastri, Ashley van Bree, Safina Barsatie (Winner Miss India Holland 2011), and Demy van der Heide.

The finalists are enjoying every bit of the pageant and are working hard to get closer to the crown. The reigning queen Miss Grand Netherlands 2017, Kelly Van Den Dungen is also spending time with the delegates, giving them tips and sharing her own experience with the girls. The candidates of Miss Grand Netherlands 2018 also had a chance to enjoy an official photo shoot with the reigning queen.

On June 17, 2018, the final of the Miss Grand Netherlands election 2018 will take place at the Apollo Hotel Vinkeveen. The finalists will show their skills on the catwalk in creations by top designer Bjorn Kerstens, Swimwear by Natureza Brasileira by Josh and jewelry by BaroQco.

The gala coronation of Miss Grand Netherlands 2018 will kick start at 3:00pm (Netherlands time). Mark your calendars and note down the timing as per your time-zone...
