In a recent post by the Facebook page of Miss Grand International, Miss Chang Ruey Jing has been officially confirmed the new Miss Grand Singapore 2018. She will now represent Singapore in Miss Grand International 2018 to be held on 25th October 2018 in Myanmar, where Miss Grand International 2017 María José Lora will crown her successor.

Since Singapore withdrew its participation from Miss Grand International 2017, Miss Chang succeeds Miss Grand International 2016 Sabrina Ng. Unfortunately, Sabrina could not secure a position in the finale of Miss Grand International 2016 where she represented Singapore.
