Alina Voronkova crowned Miss Finland 2018

At the event finale of Miss Suomi 2018 aka Miss Finland 2018 held on 29th September 2018 at The Magnificent Billnäs Village, Alina Voronkova was crowned Miss Finland 2018 and will now represent Finland in the upcoming Miss Universe 2018. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Finland 2017 Michaela Söderholm.

Alina is not new to the pageant world as she was crowned Miss MP 2017, participated in Miss Lace 2016 and was again crowned Miss Mikkelin Neito 2015 before her current outstanding win. The newly crowned queen’s court comprised of -

First Runner-Up - Eevi Ihalainen

Second Runner-Up - Jenny Lappalainen

Janni Hussi, a host and a Cosmopolitan blogger, Liro Harjula, Tv host and Producer and Heidi Sohlberg were the hosts of the show and kept the audience thoroughly entertained.

 

Alina Voronkova crowned Miss Finland 2018

 

Traditionally, the first runner-up represents Finland in Miss World and the second runner-up represents Finland in Miss International. That means that Eevi Ihalainen will be Miss World Finland 2018 whereas Jenny Lappalainen is the newly crowned Miss International Finland 2018. However, the official announcement for the same by the Miss Suomi Organization is awaited.
