The organization of Miss Grand Thailand hosted a press conference on 31st August 2020 at the Suvarnabhumi Grand Ballroom, Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel. The press conference was hosted in order to welcome all the beautiful delegates and the reigning queens for the competition that is scheduled to be hosted on 19th September 2020.
President of Miss Universe Thailand was invited as a special guest for the press conference of Miss Grand Thailand 2020. Miss Grand Thailand 2017 Pam-Premika Pamela hosted the event and was appreciated for her quick response to the things that took place at the press conference. She greeted the directors of the 77 provinces along with the fans who were present to cheer their queens.
The beautiful and talented 77 delegates who are representing the provinces of Thailand at the competition paraded in front of the media showcasing fashion, Thai cloth dresses and their beautiful crowns. The fashion parade was organized to showcase the delegates in front of the fans, Thai cloth dresses that were adorned by the delegates under the theme of ‘This is Me, This is Thailand’ concept was made by Thai designers from 77 provinces. They created costumes made with Thai fabrics from their hometown and the organization promoted the local designers. Beautiful and unique to create excitement for the exhibitors and those who are watching on the YouTube channel Miss Grand Thailand.
The press conference ended with Miss Grand International 2019 Valentina Figuera’s presence as she paraded with the contestants in their evening dresses. With a crown and introducing herself in her own style; she adorned a beautiful evening gown that had a beautiful headgear. The entire room cheered for the queen as she paraded in her stunning evening gown. This time, the organization of Miss Grand Thailand also offers the opportunity for beauty queen fans across the country to search for the 20 most popular outfits on the runway tonight as “TOP 20 Popular on Runway”, where the 20 outfits with the highest votes will be displayed as Exhibition at Hall 100, BITEC Bangna during 16-19 September 2020.
Prior to the launch of the 2020 Miss Grand Thailand crown called "The Power Of Lady Torches", designed by Nawat Isara Kraisun, inspired by the unification of women to pass Obstacles together with 4 other crowns of this year. Deputy Miss Grand Thailand invited Miss Grand Thailand 2019 Cocoa-Araya Suparuek and the other four Miss Grand Thailand 2019 finalists; Ploy-Peerachada Khunrak, Jenny-Narumol Khamphan, Tukta-Maneerat Daeng Prasert and Pomelo-Chompoo Nuch to introduce the new crowns for Miss Grand Thailand 2020.
