From safaris to pool parties, the beautiful contestants of the 45^th Miss Intercontinental contest are making sure their blood levels are high and their skin is glowing, by indulging into amazing activities. A pre-pageant tour of Sri Lanka is just the perfect way to banish any pre-finale stress.

The 64 gorgeous contestants of the beauty pageant arrived at the official hotel partner, The Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel in Colombo in Sri Lanka. The organisers of the pageant arranged a welcoming cocktail party for the girls. The event was a great opportunity to help the girls interact with the fellow contestants as well as with the sponsors. Non-alcoholic beverages and delicious canapés ruled the party.

Lion’s Rock in Sigiria was another location that the finalists got a chance to explore. The breathtaking scenery at this amazing point is almost surreal. The experience of visiting the Lion Rocks in Sri Lanka will remain as a pleasant, unforgettable memory for each contestant of 2016 Miss Intercontinental pageant.

The beautiful girls next went on a four hours road trip from the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel in Colombo to Cinnamon Habanara Lodge. The contestants enjoyed a great safari, some of them for the first time. The Minneriya National Park in Habarana, Sri Lanka is home to around 7,000 wild Asian elephants. Baby elephants won hearts with these beauty lovers. It was an amazing experience as the finalists had a chance to watch the elephants from quite near.

The 2016 Miss Intercontinental contestants loosen themselves at a candid photo shoot at the Cinnamon properties. The candidates sparked an interesting day as they posed in their swimwear by the pool side of Trinco Blu by Cinnamon Hotels, followed by an amusing Pool Party. The exuberant of the girls could be seen in their photographs.

Apart from all these activities, the Miss Intercontinental 2016 also visited the ancient royal city, Polonnaruwa in Sri Lanka, went on a traditional boat-ride, and did some environmental-good through tree-planting. Way to go girls!

The outgoing queen, Miss Intercontinental 2015, Russia’s Valentina Rasulova will crown her successor to commemorate the night.
