Jenny has earlier participated in various regional pageants but couldn’t win any title. Vying for the Miss Iowa USA crown since she was 19 years old, she’s been second runner-up once and third runner-up three times, including the past two years. This time her hard work finally paid heed to her deeds.

After winning the title Jenny said, “I was in shock; I couldn’t even cry or gather my mind to know this was really happening. Now I can’t wait to make a difference in the community and statewide level and maybe nationally.”

At the same event, Isabella Russell of Marshalltown was crowned Miss Teen Iowa USA 2018 and will now represent her state in Miss Teen USA 2018.
