Morgan Kofoid from Leon was crowned Miss Iowa USA 2020 on 6th October 2019. Miss Iowa USA 2020 was 4th crown win for Morgan since holding the title of Miss Iowa Teen USA in 2013. Morgan Kofoid succeeds Miss USA 2019 Baylee Drezek from Davenport.
Morgan will soon graduate with a degree from college of Nursing at the University of Iowa. She will graduate with her BSN with minor degree in physical activity and nutritional scenes. She hopes to serve at the University of Iowa hospital because after attaining some experience, Morgan plans to enroll into grad school specializing in anesthesia.
Morgan also models for various midwestern businesses including Von Maur, Hy-Vee, Casey’s etc. She recently featured on the cover of a historical fictional novel. Morgan was very close to her grandfather and when he passed away from Lou Gehrig’s Disease, she started to invest her time and knowledge in creating awareness & serving for charitable organizations like The ALS Association.
In her spare time, Morgan loves to spend some time with her family and friends, exercising dancing, singing and babysitting. She hopes to have a long and rewarding career as a pediatric oncologist. Morgan Kofoid wants to inspire and empower the women by showing them that they can have it all by someday working hard for what they want.
Morgan Kofoid is the only 4th young woman to hold both Miss Iowa Teen USA and Miss Iowa USA in the state. Along with Morgan Kofoid, Hailey Parton of West Des Moines was crowned Miss Iowa Teen USA 2020. Both titleholders will now advance and compete at the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA national pageants.
