Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia 2023 was the debut edition of the national pageant which was held on 8th June 2023 at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta, Indonesia where Ritassya Wellgreat was crowned the new queen. She was crowned by Andina Julie Miss Grand Indonesia 2022 and will now represent Indonesia at Miss Grand International 2023.

Ritassya Wellgreat is an Indonesian model and an accountant by profession. Not new to the pageantry, Ritassya participated in Puteri Indonesia 2019 and placed in Top 11. At the finale, during the Q/A, she was asked, “In your opinion, what qualities differentiate you from other finalists who are currently competing in Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia 2023?”

"I have a mindset that always wants to develop, because every time I am given the opportunity, I don't want to just stop there. I have always been taught by my parents, to add value. because, when we have value, we will benefit people around us. I am standing here, on the Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia stage, will be ready to give my best contribution and I am ready to work with the world mega bintang foundation.”

Also at the end of the event finale, the runners-up included Jakarta’s Valerie Avril, Manado’s Chesy Anribka, Manado’s Vanessa Hatter and Palembang’s Sahida Sheik while Top 10 included Medan’s Febby Dengah, Jakarta’s Michelle Ayu, Jember’s Rayya Haqq, Jakarta’s Vania Agustina, Belitung’s Vinnilya Huanggrio.

A number of special awards were also presented at the finale; Miss Glowing Skin       went to Valerie Avril, Best in Social Media went to Vania Kwan, Best in Sportswear went to Vania Agustina, Best in Evening Gown went to Chesy Anribka, Best Designer went to Valerie Avril and the Best Team went to Vanessa Hatter.
