Reinas del Paraguay organization held the finals of the 2022 edition on 26th August 2022 where Dahiana Benitez Gatzke was crowned Miss Mundo Paraguay 2022 (Miss World Paraguay 2022) and will represent Paraguay at Miss World 2022.

Dahiana hails from Encarnación and is 20 years of age. On winning the crown, Dahiana quoted, “I feel very excited, proud to be able to take the crown to Encarnación and also excited to be able to go to England next year. I am going to prepare myself with everything, with the team and the organization. This is the first edition of them, so nothing, to give everything.”

The newly crowned Miss World Paraguay 2022 also indicated that she felt insecure on the catwalk and in the public, but decided to take the situation calmly, since she did not stop rehearsing on her own on stage hours before the event. "It's an achievement for me, because she was a pretty shy girl," she said.

Not new to the pageantry, Dahiana is known in the field of beauty pageants she participated from the age of 15, winning three teenage beauty pageants. This was her first major national pageant which she won with her stellar performance and charming personality.

The accomplished panel of jury included Vivian Benítez, Yanina González, Alba Riquelme, Carlos Burró, Abdala Oviedo, Rodrigo Fernández, Puppa Careaga, Dr. Marcos Margraf, Silenia Abdala, Mario López. Toto González and Luchi García Rubín were the hosts of the event.

Also at the event finale, Leah Ashmore, Jazmín de la Sierra and Macarena Tomás were crowned Miss Universe Paraguay 2022, Miss International Paraguay 2022 and Miss Tierra Paraguay 2022 respectively. Elicena Andrada was adjudged Virreina Mundo.
