In the recently held 65th edition of Miss Venezuela finale, Veruska Betania Ljubisavljevic Rodríguez from Vargas was crowned Miss World Venezuela 2018. She succeeds outgoing Miss World Venezuela 2017, Ana Carolina Ugarte.
She was a part of our Top 10 favourites as well.
Veruska is 26 years of age and stands tall at 178 cm. With a degree in advertising, she loves to cook and is a chef by profession. This lovely beauty is of Serbian descent and believes that “Do not sleep to rest, sleep to dream because dreams are to be fulfilled." She has a special place in her heart for the cause of Breast cancer and advocates about its early detection among people.
Just before the contest started, she shared a lovely and hopeful message on her social media page, “Someone a long time ago told me, ‘do not be afraid of successes and yes, he was right. Leaving fears behind, I dared, I presented a good day in a regional contest ‘Miss Vargas 2017 and that gave me the pass to Miss Venezuela 2017. Whatever be the result tonight, believe me I feel like I have won...! This experience has been more than beautiful!! Thanks to all who have been part of this process; I love you a lot!”
In the same event, Mariem Claret Velazco García was crowned Miss Venezuela International 2018 and Sthefany Gutiérrez was crowned Miss Venezuela Universe 2018.
