Miss Nebraska USA 2020 held its coronation night last night i.e. 12th January 2020 where stunning beauties were given the chance to compete for the state title and at the end of the event finale, Megan Swanson will be crowned the new queen. Megan succeeds Miss Nebraska USA 2019 Lex Najarian and will now represent her state in Miss USA 2020.
Megan Swanson performed with excellence and grace at the finale. Megan lives in Omaha and has studied Commercial Music in Vocal Performance at Belmont University. Megan has also represented Nebraska at Miss America. She is a coach, speaker and songwriter who is also CEO and Founder at Powerhouse Pageantry. The Powerhouse Pageantry is a project equipping women to ignite their identity, discover their purpose, and walk out their destiny by unlocking the winner within.
The stunning beauty queen’s court included –
1st Runner-up – Erika Etzelmiller
2nd Runner-up – Samantha Washington
3rd Runner-up – Mimi Wood
4th Runner-up – Tope Banwo
Apart from the winner and her court, Top 11 also included Taylor Cassady from South Sloux County, Chayna Davidson from Sarpy County, Bree Coffey from Omaha, Paige Thompson from Norfolk, Jessica Shultis from Midwest, Brittany Lakhani from Douglas County and Dilasha Neupane from Greater Omaha.
Erika Etzelmiller, who was adjudged the first runner-up, was also awarded the title of Miss Photogenic while Dilasha Neupane was awarded the coveted title of Miss Congeniality.
Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2020 was also crowned at the state finale as Audrey Eckert was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Nebraska in Miss Teen USA 2020. Audrey’s court included Hannah DeLashmutt, Mary Sickler, Daisy Sudderth and Baylee Renz who were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively. Hannah Kost from West Omaha was awarded Miss Photogenic title while Gillian Peterson from Lincoln was awarded Miss Congeniality award.
