Miss Oregon USA 2020 held its coronation night on 12th January 2020 where Katerina Villegas was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Oregon in Miss USA 2020. Katerina succeeds and was crowned by Miss Oregon USA 2019 Natalie Tonneson.

Katerina Villegas’ journey in the pageantry is the epitome of hard work of dedication. For 10 long years she participated in Miss California USA and Miss California Teen USA but did not win the state title. Her dream of being a part of Miss USA was shattered year after year but she did not lose hope and kept on trying again and again. Finally, at Miss Oregon USA 2020, she found her long awaited victory. Katerina is a singer and a Doctor of Psychology student. The stunning beauty queen’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Allison Cook

2nd Runner-up – Hailey Sturgill

3rd Runner-up – Caitlyn Monnone

4th Runner-up – Hannah Patterson

The beauties who also made it to Top 11, aside from the winner and her court, were Ashley Bednarek from West MOntavilla, Brooklyn Lowery from Washington County, Emma Ellis from Stumptwon, Brittney Cathcart from Klamath Falls, Sarah Rose Donahue from Hood River Valley and Willow Garcia from Helvelia.

Apart from Katerina’s crowning, Shayla Montgomery from Happy Valley was crowned Miss Oregon Teen USA 2020. The stunning teen gave an incredible performance at the state contest to win the crown. She is also the founder of Teens Speak Life, a space that promotes positive teen interaction and encourages self-love. Shayla’s court included Hallidae Hunt, Amanda Bishop, Megan Kindle and Mira Batti who were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively. Shayna will now represent her state at Miss Teen USA 2020 as she succeeds Miss Teen Oregon USA 2019 Mackenzie Peterson.
