Andrea Meza was appointed Mexicana Universal Chihuahua 2019 by the official organization as no regional pageant was held to crown a new queen. She will now represent Chihuahua in Mexicana Universal 2020 and has made the state’s delegation very strong. The coronation night for Andrea was held on 11th January 2020 where Andrea Isabel Toscano Miss International Mexico 2019 and Marissa Navarro Mexicana Universal Chihuahua 2018 were also present.
Andrea Meza is none other than our first runner-up from Miss World 2017. Her journey in the pageantry has been quite accomplished as Andrea began in 2016 when she was crowned Miss Chihuahua 2016 and went on to be crowned Miss World Mexico 2017. The stunning Mexican beauty then represented Mexico at Miss World 2017 where she lost to Manushi Chhillar of India and ended up being placed as the first runner-up. Thus, Andrea sure has the apt experience and exposure to represent Mexico at another coveted international pageant.

From Miss World to Miss Universe, we have seen another successful journey of none other than Catriona Gray Miss Universe 2018 who was a part of Miss World 2016 as well. This shift from one coveted pageant to another could work well in the favor of Andrea Meza as well if she wins Mexicana Universal 2020 aka Miss Universe Mexico 2020 representing Chihuahua.
Andrea’s list of accomplishments did not end at winning the first runner-up position at Miss World 2017 as she was also awarded Miss World Americas and also placed 4th runner-up in Talent competition, Top 9 in Miss Multimedia, Top 20 in Sports Competition and Top 30 in Top Model Competition.

Andrea is 25 years of age and stands a whopping 182 cm tall. She has studied Software Engineering at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua. With all of her experience in the pageant world and her stunning beauty and grace, Andrea will surely be the toughest contender to beat for the other ladies at Mexicana Universal 2020. Congratulations to the beauty queen.
