Meet Alyssa Rose Fernandes Miss New Hampshire USA 2020 for Miss USA 2020

Alyssa Rose Fernandes of Merrimack was crowned Miss New Hampshire USA 2020 on 8th December 2019 at The Colonial Theatre in Keene. She is representing New Hampshire for the title of Miss USA 2020. She succeeds Miss New Hampshire USA 2019 Alexis Chinn of Pembroke.

Alyssa is a trained ballet dancer and had performed for the public at The Nutcracker Act II by Belinda Bridgeman Academy of Dance on 14th December 2019. She also performed for the students of James Mastricola Upper Elementary School and for the senior citizens during the National Honor Society’s annual senior dinner.

While visiting JMUES, Alyssa was fortunate to visit some of her former teachers and current students. There she interacted with the students and answered questions related to importance of hard work and commitment. Alyssa who spent 7 years in Florida where she was pursuing her degree feels very pleased to be able to visit her hometown and connect with her childhood memories.

Alyssa is very athletic and energetic which can help her during the talent round of the competition. She is a very approachable and likes making new connection with the people around her. Her bewitching smile and poise body can give other candidates a tough competition for the title of Miss USA 2020. She hopes to motivate young people to love and embrace themselves as they are and be happy.

Also at the finale, Samantha Lemay of Deerfield was crowned Miss New Hampshire Teen USA 2020 and will represent New Hampshire for the title of Miss Teen USA 2020.

Last year, Alexis Chinn Miss New Hampshire 2019 represented her state at Miss USA 2019 but unfortunately failed to make her spot in the top 20. She urged the people to accept themselves as they are and become truly happy and see every challenge as a chance to better themselves.
