Miss Nicaragua 2022, the 40th edition of the Miss Nicaragua, was held on 6th August 2022 in the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Convention Center Managua where Norma Huembes Salazar was crowned the new queen. Miss Nicaragua 2021 Allison Wassmer of Managua will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Norma Huembes, representing San Marcos Carazo, is 24 years of age. Norma believes being Miss Nicaragua means much more than wearing a beautiful crown and being beautiful, it’s a job that should be undertaken with a lot of respect, discipline, and love. Norma was a part of our favourites for Miss Nicaragua 2022 crown as well. The newly crowned Miss Nicaragua 2022 Norma Huembes Salazar’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Katherine Burgos representing Tipitapa

2nd Runner-up – Diana Navarro representing Leon

3rd Runner-up – Isabella Salgado representing Chinandega

4th Runner-up – Gabriela Calix representing Cinco Pinos

Top 10 also included Alejandra Villalta, 20, Managua; Andrea Baltodano, 26, San Jorge; Betzy Carolina Dolmuz, 27, Matagalpa; Katia Duranza, 27, Managua and Yolaina Guillen, 27, Somoto.

Also at the finale, Katherine Burgos was awarded Miss Solenti, Norma Huembes Salazar was awarded Belleza Integral, Isabella Salgado was awarded Mejor Estilo, Katherine Burgos was awarded Mirada Mas Bella and Mejor Rostro Skinlab, Gabriela Calix was awarded Mejor Sonrisa, Katherine Burgos was also awarded Mejor Cabello Biotop and Diana Navarro was awarded Mujer de Impacto.
